What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), traveller details you enter for bookings (names, dates of birth, passport expiry), bookings and payments (processed by Stripe — we don’t store card numbers), documents you choose to store in your travel wallet, and location only if you turn on sharing.
How we use it
To make and manage your bookings, send confirmations and alerts you’ve asked for (like deal alerts), provide safety features and improve BaliMate. We share traveller details only with the suppliers and partners needed to fulfil your booking.
Your choices
Turn off deal alerts or location sharing any time in the app. Ask us for a copy of your data or to delete your account at support@balimate.com.au.
Australian Privacy Principles
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Some suppliers are overseas (for example in Indonesia), so details may be disclosed overseas to fulfil your booking.
